Food Blogs

Recently I have become obsessed with food blogs. I'm sure many of you have been looking at them for a while, I'm always a little bit behind on these things. Well I found this recipe for Wingers sticky fingers and they tasted exactly the same. Now some of my friends do not have the same enthusiasm for Wingers as I do, but I know when they try these they will. I made the wraps with a spinach tortilla, cheese, and lettuce and mixed some of the wing sauce with ranch for the creamy sauce and it was tasty. I found the recipe on favoritefamilyrecipes.blogspot.com Some other recipes we have tried from there are the Cafe Rio pork salad, Tia peanut saute, and shrimp tacos. Although my children asked me last night to stop making new recipes off blogs and go back to making the old stuff, I have enjoyed experimenting and anything that makes preparing dinner more exciting count me in.

8 years!

8 years ago Jake and I tied the knot, and it has been pure bliss ever since- Well mostly. It is funny to me how I'm starting to forget some of the details of that day. I just remember not being able to sleep the night before because I was so excited and nervous that everything would fall into place perfectly. Well it must have because I really don't remember any hiccups. I sometimes can't believe it has been 8 years and that we have 3 kids, where does the time go. I do know I made the best decision in my life in marrying Jake, he truly is an amazing guy. Happy Anniversary!

Goodbye Opal Hill Dr.

You were our first house, we painted you, replaced all flooring except the master bath, put up a fence finished the backyard and basement, poured a RV pad and put many hours of of sweat and tears into you. Both of our boys were born here and many memories were made. We met the best neighbor and friends and enjoyed hours of sledding on the hill and playing in the park. Thank you and we will miss you!!!
