Shutterfly Rocks

Shutterfly really does rock!! I have loved the quality, versatility, and style of their card collections and this year it got even better. Every year I send out a holiday card, this year I had two super cute pictures of my kids and found the perfect card layout. This is my favorite holiday card design yet! The hardest part is trying to choose just one! I love so many of the new designs. Do I want one picture or five or six? Folded or flat? 4x8, 5x5 or 5x7? The premium cardstock that is used had me sold when I created my card last year. Everything I have made from Shutterfly has always turned out great and I cannot wait to see how my card turns out. Which one would you choose? Go to http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery to decide. Another great Shutterfly product that I always create this time of year are their calendars. They are a great gift for grandparents and I have been making them for my in laws for the past 3 years. This year they have a new desk calendar design that would be perfect for my husband's office. See their awesome calendars here: http://www.shutterfly.com/calendars/wall-calendars. To complete my holiday traditions with Shutterfly I think I will order photo Christmas ornaments for my kids. My kids get a new ornament every year for the tree and I love the pewter picture holder with a the big red satin ribbon here: http://www.shutterfly.com/photo-gifts/pewter-ornament. Happy Holiday shopping!

Shutterfly

I have been making calendars with Shutterfly for a couple of years and loved how they turned out. My friend Brooke told me about 50 free cards from Shutterfly when you blog about them. I couldn't pass up a deal like that. I can't wait to see how they turn out.
Thanks again Brookie

Food Blogs

Recently I have become obsessed with food blogs. I'm sure many of you have been looking at them for a while, I'm always a little bit behind on these things. Well I found this recipe for Wingers sticky fingers and they tasted exactly the same. Now some of my friends do not have the same enthusiasm for Wingers as I do, but I know when they try these they will. I made the wraps with a spinach tortilla, cheese, and lettuce and mixed some of the wing sauce with ranch for the creamy sauce and it was tasty. I found the recipe on favoritefamilyrecipes.blogspot.com Some other recipes we have tried from there are the Cafe Rio pork salad, Tia peanut saute, and shrimp tacos. Although my children asked me last night to stop making new recipes off blogs and go back to making the old stuff, I have enjoyed experimenting and anything that makes preparing dinner more exciting count me in.

8 years!

8 years ago Jake and I tied the knot, and it has been pure bliss ever since- Well mostly. It is funny to me how I'm starting to forget some of the details of that day. I just remember not being able to sleep the night before because I was so excited and nervous that everything would fall into place perfectly. Well it must have because I really don't remember any hiccups. I sometimes can't believe it has been 8 years and that we have 3 kids, where does the time go. I do know I made the best decision in my life in marrying Jake, he truly is an amazing guy. Happy Anniversary!
